The Principle of Eternity is a book about the way spiritual realities are reflected in modern science. Religious scholars and scientists have already acknowledged the existence of a correlation between modern science and spiritual realities. This book focuses on the pattern of manifestation of those realities.
Deeply rooted in the teachings of Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani on Islamic spirituality and the nature of light, the book reveals how God's heavenly rules govern the universe’s scientific and physical laws through three postulates. This governance, which is referred to as the eternal constraint in the book, is the backbone of the principle of eternity which could be defined as a criterion for interpreting the laws, processes and rules of the universe. This principle provides us with a much-need explanation for the strange scientific phenomena observed in nature such as the particularity of quantum physics.
Our universe is regented by a series of fundamental laws which are generally defined as the set of laws of physics. In this book, we call fundamental laws of nature all the laws and rules our modern scientific fields embody (laws of mathematics, physics, astronomy, cosmology and so on). These rules may be complex scientific laws such as Maxwell's equations and Einstein's special theory of relativity, or more simple fundamental rules such as basic addition and subtraction rules.
According to the principle of eternity, the fundamental laws of nature are nothing but reflections of higher spiritual laws. The fundamental laws of nature should therefore be interpreted as divine signs ("ayat" in Arabic).
In general, scientists are able to explain results in terms of a set of input variables. For instance, the computation 1+1 yields 2 because we added one unit to another unit. But scientists fail to explain why a given set of input variables produce the predicted result. Thus, although we know that 1+1 yields 2, we do not know why it actually yields the expected result. Another example is the case of the gravitational force. Scientists know how to calculate this force, but they do not know what causes it to exist. Also, and more importantly, science fails to provide an explanation for such unpredictable phenomena as the tunneling of electrons through a barrier.
Let us ask ourselves: what are the hidden rules that force the mathematical addition 1+1 to always produce a result of 2? Could we (and should we) interpret any scientific rule, such as the mathematical addition 1+1, as an abstract representation of a higher, more spiritual law? If such is the case, what unknown spiritual variables force some fundamental laws of the universe to sometimes fail, as it is the case with quantum physics?
The Principle of Eternity takes us back to the source and helps us identify these higher realities that dynamically influence the outcomes of nature’s physical processes. This journey to the origin of things helps fill the embarrassing void created by science's failed attempts to explain transcendental physical phenomena.
The ultimate goal of The Principle of Eternity is to show that the universe is nothing but a mere shadow of God's eternal laws and realities. When they are correctly interpreted, the postulates of the principle of eternity provide meaningful answers to our most simple, yet so-meaningful mundane questions such as:

Because we wanted to make this book as easy to read as possible we focused on seven main disciplines only: quantum physics, numerology, linear algebra, differential equations, cosmology, binary logic and particle physics.
